Kulören som vi valt är även årets färg 2019 hos Benjamnin Moore.När vi flyttade in så var det en dörröppning mellan hall och kök, men när vi renoverade för 7 år sedan så stängde vi igen och satte in ett fönster mellan hall och kök. En lösning som vi varit oerhört nöjda med. Men när vi satte igång att planera för renoveringen så ventilerade jag mina idéer med våra vänner och min goda vän och kollega Jonas föreslog att vi skulle öppna helt mot hallen. Det lät snyggt när han pratade om det, men jag kunde inte se att det skulle bli bra, för det kändes som om hallen skulle hamna i köket då. Det var inte så lätt att hitta ett men jag kom på att jag gjort reportage hos en familj i Gränna där mannen i huset tidigare livnärt sig på att renovera vedspisar. Jag kontaktade Hanna och hennes man hjälpt mig gärna. Några veckor senare åkte jag upp till Gränna och fick med mig ett fint brännjärn i massivt gjutjärn.
